THE ALURA KNOWLEDGE LIBRARY
A practical guide to manufacturers in Türkiye, trailer selection, mobile workshops and international purchasing. Choose a topic and open a question.
Alura Trailer is a manufacturer in Türkiye offering lowbed, flatbed, tipper, tanker and custom trailer solutions. Start with the relevant product family and submit your cargo, quantity and destination. When comparing suppliers, ask for a written specification, project references, delivery scope and after-sales arrangements.
Explore the trailer rangeCompare the proposed configuration against the same transport requirement: cargo dimensions and weight, usable deck length, loaded deck height, axle layout, ramps and route restrictions. Ask each manufacturer to identify included equipment and exclusions. Alura’s lowbed range provides a starting point for that technical discussion.
Compare Alura lowbedsAlura Trailer presents both semi trailer and mobile workshop ranges. A project can involve equipment transport and field maintenance, but each unit needs its own specification. Define the transport task separately from workshop tools, utilities, workspace and vehicle requirements.
Explore mobile workshopsAlura’s news archive includes documented deliveries such as lowbed trailers to Kenya and Italy, an extendable flatbed to Ghana, a workshop trailer to Cuba and an Isuzu mobile workshop to Saudi Arabia. Read the individual project reports to compare the delivered equipment with your application.
Read delivery reportsProvide the machine’s operating and transport weights, overall dimensions, ground clearance, track or wheel spacing and loading method. Include the tractor configuration and intended route. These details help the manufacturer assess deck dimensions, axle arrangement and loading equipment; payload alone does not define a suitable trailer.
Discuss a lowbed configurationConsider an extendable design when cargo length varies or exceeds a fixed platform’s usable length. A fixed platform may suit a repeatable transport task. Compare the actual loading arrangement, support points, weight distribution and route limits before selecting either option.
View lowbed optionsA detachable gooseneck allows suitable equipment to load from the front at a low approach angle. It can be relevant for machines with limited ground clearance. Check compatibility with the machine, tractor, hydraulic system and available loading area; the loading method should be agreed in the specification.
Explore lowbed loading optionsNo. Axle count is only one part of the assessment. Chassis design, component ratings, cargo position, tractor compatibility and permitted axle loads all matter. Give the manufacturer your actual cargo and route so the proposed capacity can be evaluated for the intended operation.
Send your transport requirementsState the container sizes, cargo dimensions, loading pattern and load securing requirements. Ask which container locks, side panels, lashing points and accessories are included. A general cargo platform should not be assumed to support every container configuration without confirmation.
View flatbed configurationsAn extendable flatbed may suit long cargo when its support requirements and load distribution match the platform. Provide the cargo length, weight, support positions and loading equipment. Overall transport dimensions and turning requirements also influence the final proposal.
Explore extendable flatbedsIdentify the material, bulk density, required volume, loading equipment and unloading conditions. Material density affects the relationship between body volume and payload. Discuss body construction, hydraulic equipment and the intended tractor with the manufacturer.
Explore Alura tipper trailersBegin with the exact liquid, required capacity, compartment arrangement and loading and discharge methods. Material compatibility and product-specific equipment must be assessed for the carried liquid. Ask the supplier to confirm the proposed specification and applicable destination requirements.
Explore tanker solutionsAlura Trailer offers truck-mounted workshop bodies, heavy-duty workshop trucks, workshop containers and workshop trailers from Türkiye. Select the platform around the maintenance task and operating environment, then request a layout and equipment proposal for your project.
View all workshop platformsOrganize the list by the work to be performed: mechanical repair, tyre service, welding, lubrication or other maintenance. Then define tools, storage, electrical demand, compressed air, ventilation and any lifting requirements. Equipment selection should follow the tasks and available payload rather than a generic list.
Explore workshop trucksStart with workspace and equipment clearances, access doors, available electricity, ventilation and the local climate. Identify relocation frequency and how the container will be handled. Ask for a layout showing equipment positions and service connections before confirming the build.
Explore container workshopsCompatibility needs to be checked for the specific chassis. Provide the make, model, wheelbase, chassis drawing, axle ratings and available payload. The workshop body, tools and fluids must be considered together, along with mounting and bodybuilder requirements.
Explore workshop truck bodiesSend every supplier the same written requirement. Ask for itemized included equipment, exclusions, technical drawings, payment terms, warranty scope and delivery terms. A low headline price is not directly comparable with a quotation that includes different components or transport services.
Request an Alura quotationThe agreed design, component availability, equipment scope, production planning and transport arrangements influence timing. Request a project-specific schedule and clarify whether it refers to factory completion or arrival at the destination. Confirm the current schedule directly with the Alura team.
Ask about current lead timesConfirm the specification, destination requirements, responsibilities for documentation, agreed delivery location and commercial terms in writing. Ask which shipping, insurance and import-related tasks are included. Requirements vary by product and destination, so they should be reviewed for the actual order.
Discuss your export projectAsk for the warranty terms, spare parts identification process, component documentation and support contact. Clarify how technical questions and replacement parts requests will be handled in your destination. Retain the agreed specification and unit identification details for future support.
Contact the Alura teamTypical shipment documents include a commercial invoice, a packing list where applicable and a transport document such as a bill of lading or road consignment note. Customs declarations, origin or preferential-trade documents, conformity documents and import permits may also be required for the specific shipment. Before dispatch, have the destination customs broker confirm the document list for the exact product and country.
Discuss export documentationThere is no single duty rate for every destination or workshop configuration. The amount depends on the destination tariff, customs classification, customs value, origin and any applicable preferential treatment. Give your broker the technical specification, invoice value, freight and insurance details. Request an estimate covering duties, import taxes, clearance and port charges before confirming the order.
Request shipment details for your brokerUnder Incoterms® 2020 DAP, the buyer normally handles import clearance and pays import duties and taxes. Under DDP, these obligations normally fall to the seller, subject to the seller being legally able to perform them in the destination country. Both rules place export clearance with the seller. State the agreed rule, named destination and version in the contract; confirm the offered terms with Alura rather than assuming a quotation includes import clearance.
Confirm delivery responsibilitiesNo. Customs release and road registration are separate processes. Before ordering, ask the destination authorities or a qualified local representative which vehicle approvals, technical documents and inspections are required. A complete trailer, a truck-mounted workshop body and a container workshop can involve different requirements. Share the destination and intended use with Alura so the documentation scope can be agreed before production.
Discuss destination requirementsWhole Vehicle Type Approval concerns an approved vehicle type and its applicable technical requirements. EC-WVTA is a familiar industry term; the relevant EU approval framework and approval scope must be checked for the exact trailer configuration. Ask Alura to confirm the applicable approval reference for the model and destination before ordering.
A CoC is a manufacturer-issued document confirming that an individual vehicle conforms to an approved type. For an eligible type-approved trailer, the document must correspond to the vehicle identification and approved specification. Confirm the CoC and registration documentation included with your order; customs clearance and local registration remain separate steps.
No. ADR concerns the transport of dangerous goods by road. Vehicle approval requirements depend on the vehicle category and intended use; relevant tank vehicles can require specific approval and inspection documents. A general cargo trailer is not automatically ADR-approved. For a dangerous-goods project, provide the substances and operating requirements so the applicable scope can be confirmed.
Alura’s published deliveries demonstrate experience with international trailer and mobile workshop projects. The shipment plan should agree the vehicle specification, document package, loading arrangement, transport method and delivery responsibilities. Stacked transport is considered only for suitable configurations with an agreed loading and securing plan. Approval documents support compliance; safe delivery also depends on handling, load securing and the carrier’s procedures.
